Manycam Version Without Watermark The manycam version without watermark was released on March 3, 2010. The company made the decision to provide users with this free application after the popularity of their product rose. Manycam is an application for Mac OS X that applies filters to video footage in order to create a finished product for use in professional productions or home recording. Some of the available filters are sharp, sepia, black and white, grainy film stock or saturated color effects. This software is "made for creating cinematic-quality shows" according to the company's website. With its features and level of performance it sells at a lower cost than competitors' products that cater primarily towards professional use. Manycam is a lightweight application that does not require high-end machines to run effectively. The main features include live preview, live recording, cropping and trimming, real-time effects and the ability to connect to a wide range of media sources. This application allows users to take advantage of multicam technology with up to 16 cameras which can be viewed in the same window simultaneously. The ManyCam web site was created after the release of their Mac software in late May 2009. The website was created with heavy influence from Macmillan Technical Publishing's leading Mac developer podcast called "Take Control," in that it provides a free service that is funded through advertising on both their website and through in-software advertising within ManyCam itself. Manycam is a downloadable and installable application that is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 and up. The application was developed by Andrew van der Stock, a software expert from the Netherlands. The Manycam Version Without Watermark is an older version of the ManyCam software that was released in late February, 2008. This version of the software had no watermark applied to video footage and allowed users to download it for free directly from the Manycam website. This version has since been absent from their site due to copyright issues with Apple, which wanted them to pay money in order to license access to use Apple's codecs (this issue is now resolved, as shown by their latest release). The Manycam v2.1 is a free, watermarked software that has been created by the company. The version 2.1 was released on October 23, 2009 and it successfully addressed the lack of third party codecs that was previously reported. This version allowed users to apply a filter to video footage and export it as a QuickTime file from within the application's interface. Since this release, manycam have come out with Mac versions of their software for Mac OS X 10. 5 and up. The idea for Manycam came to be after van der Stock saw the need for a new program. After trying out several programs to edit videos, van der Stock became frustrated with the limitations of the options he had at his disposal. He was looking for an application that would allow for video to be edited in a simple manner, while also providing basic effects that could be customized by the user. The application was designed with simplicity in mind, especially when collaborating with freelance colleagues who are not experienced in video editing. 2017 saw the release of version 3 of Manycam, which can import video files from FLV to many different formats including MOV, MP4, MKV and AVI. cfa1e77820
